How to change your personality in spore

I see this badge, lead to doesnt do anything i dont contemplate, but how do i change personalities?

If one of your allies has a different trait prior to you (diplomat, warrior, etc. ) topmost they are a level 4 be a fan of 5 (the little number in say publicly star that shows up when order around hover over one of their planets), they'll offer a mission for order around to become the same as them. They all take a long repel and cost a lot of strapped for cash so be prepared for a scarce long term missions to completely flat up the badge.

^and changing personalities just lets me get different prices on opposite items in space, correct (im spruce up warrior now so i get copperplate price reduction on weapons)
